My name is Sharon Richards. I am Interim Manager at Earlybirds & I have the most wonderful job in the world! I discovered my love of being with children when I took over running my sons toddler group over 25 years ago. Telling stories in many magical ways and messy play are my favourite adventures! I believe every child deserves an environment that is full of curiosity, awe & wonder.
Together with the whole team, we have created comfy & cosy spaces that are communication friendly and enable children to thrive. We are a truly child led setting, and the Earlybird children show & tell us everything we need to know!
If my two sons were young again, I would want them to be part of the Earlybirds family. It is a magical place to be!

I am Lara Davies and I started working at Earlybirds (very part time) in September 2024. I have loved working with children so much that I am now working towards my Level 3 in Early Years Education through an apprenticeship.
I am constantly baking and cooking healthy meals for my own 2 young children and I hope to bring this positive relationship with food into the setting as the nominated Health and Wellbeing Advisor.
I love creating activities for the children which enable curiosity and creativity and follows the child-led approach to our preschool.
